Who qualifies for a scholarship from Access to Freedom?

This is a scholarship for men who are desperate to change their lives and have lost the support of their job, their loved ones, and society at large. Men with financial means, employment, savings accounts, and 401(k)s need not apply.

What do I have to do?

Scholarship recipients will be required to attend an intensive, 90 day, peer driven program in order to get recovered from drug and alcohol addiction. Failure to participate in the program results in revocation of scholarship.

What all does the scholarship cover?

Once accepted, scholarship covers room, board, and intensive programming for 90 days. Staff will review any ongoing legal situation and coordinate with probation, attorneys, bondsmen, and parole. Programming consists of intensive work in the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Can I Apply for a family member or loved one?

No. Access to Freedom is a scholarship designed to help those who are ready and willing to take action to secure a different and brighter future. Please refer your loved on to this page if you would like them to apply.
