We Help Others Like Us

Our team has over 60 years of combined experience battling drug addiction and alcoholism. Access to Freedom exists to help the men we would never be able to reach - without your help.

Lance Hunt - President

Lance Hunt began his journey in recovery in 2014 in Whitney, Texas.

Lance is an entrepreneur, real estate developer, and proud member of his Central Texas community. He opened his first business in 2000 and takes pride in serving his customers. Mr. Hunt believes that the service mindset can be applied in every aspect of his life.

Lance was a victim of the “rinse and repeat” treatment industry, and visited detoxes and short rounds of in-patient treatment almost a dozen times before eventually working the steps as a part of an intensive, 90 day program. He has since experienced a profound alteration in his way of viewing and living life and works to share that experience with others who still suffer.

Lance believes in the 12 step program of recovery as presented in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous and founded Access to Freedom so that the solution that changed his life can be provided to as many men as are ready to take the steps.

Danielle Paulson - Vice President

Originally from Sparta, New Jersey, Danielle has a degree in Public Relations and Communication studies at the University of Texas at Arlington. Claiming years of victory over her own battle with addiction, Danielle’s personal experience is one of her most valuable assets.

Danielle is successfully raising two young boys, is an active member in the recovery community, and is passionately committed to helping others.

Don Radon - Secretary

Mr. Radon first stepped into a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous on November 11, 1987. Since then he has accumulated a great deal of experience of what to do and, more importantly, what not to do. Over the past 34 years Don has worked with thousands of recovering alcoholic men and women.

His next move was to South Texas as a member of the startup team of Origins Recovery Center and Hannah’s House (Origins’ women’s program) as the Director of Operations from 2009 through 2012. Following the Origins experience, Don moved to Whitney, Texas, to lead the startup of Brazos Recovery Services. He created and developed Brazos’ program while serving as Executive Director from 2012 to 2014. In 2015 Don discovered 164 Recovery Center for Women in Hubbard, TX where he took on the role of 12 Step Program Director.

Taking his extensive experience in the field, Don founded Recovered and Free. He has dedicated his life to helping men recover from addiction/alcoholism, restore their dignity and rebuild their lives...
